Christmas for Children

Silent Night, Holy Night

This Christmas we encourage all children and their families to come and join any of our worship services. Children are always welcome at all of our masses at St. Mark's. Youth and older children are being scheduled as acolytes. Whether it is our Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Saturday, December 23 at 4:00 pm, or our Christmas Eve and Day masses on December 24 and 25, we welcome families to worship together. Many children find the Christmas Eve High Mass at 11:00 pm to be especially wonderful for children due to the candle-lighting ceremony and procession to the manger. Don't forget that Christmas is twelve days beginning on Christmas and ending on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6. All children are welcome to join our Epiphany Procession bringing the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the manger.
