On Sunday, September 23, our guest preacher at the morning masses will be the Rev'd Annalise Castro Pasalo. Mother Pasalo is the chaplain of St. Andrew's Schools
Mother Annalise helps at St. Mark's by celebrating some of the week day masses when her busy schedule allows. She was raised up for the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of Hawai‘i, and she attended Virginia Theological Seminary for her Master of Divinity degree. This past spring she was named by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry as a delegate to attend the 62nd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), taking place in New York City, March 12-23, 2018. Recently she served as an Official Youth Presence Mentor at the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas.
Parishioners will have an opportunity to visit informally with Mother Annalise after both morning masses.
