Parish Forums & Aloha Hours
Parish Forums are community gatherings that take place after the High Mass on select Sundays. Sometimes guest speakers are invited to inform the community about a variety of issues, and at other times we gather to celebrate and highlight our ministries at St. Mark's.

Sunday, April 29
St. Mark's was founded by the Hawaiian congregation of St. Andrew's Cathedral in memory of Queen Emma, who died on St. Mark's Day.
Sunday, May 20
Join us on the Day of Pentecost for a reception and parish forum celebrating our outreach ministries. Our Sunday Supper Ministry, Project Dana, and Family Promise volunteers will be honored.
Sunday, July 29
On this Sunday after High Mass we gather for a recap of the Episcopal Church's General Convention held in Austin, Texas, July 5-13. Father Lillie is a deputy of our diocese, and he will share his thoughts and reflections.

Eastertide 2018
When we speak of Easter Mystagogy, we speak of interpreting the great mysteries of the faith. It is a great tradition of the church to do this exercise during the season of Easter.
Passion Sunday 2018
On this Sunday the St. Mark's Choir hosted a Lenten Lunch of soups in honor of St. Cyril. Cyril was the bishop of Jerusalem who devised the Holy Week liturgies we celebrate today.

A Feast before Lent
On this Last Sunday after the Epiphany, we gathered for a festive Carnival Brunch after High Mass, and the children buried the Alleluias until Easter.
Celebrating St. Mark's
The Annual Meeting of St. Mark's Church was on Sunday, January 21, and it included a delicious potluck, as well as reports from our various ministries.
Spreading Christmas Joy
St. Mark's reached out to Responsive Caregivers, providing over 100 gifts to their participants again this Christmas.

Every year on the Sunday closest to St. Francis Day, we gather for the Blessing of the Animals. All furry, feathery and scaly friends, and their caregivers, are welcome to any of our masses.
