Safeguarding God's People
To ensure that all of God's family might be safe and whole, the Episcopal Church requires the following trainings for those in various positions of leadership and ministry. Anyone may actually take the trainings if they desire, and the Diocese offers multiple training opportunities each year on each of the Islands.
Safeguarding God's Children
Safeguarding God's Children provides participants with the information they need to protect the children they know and care for in their personal lives and the ministries in which they serve. The program is based on the philosophy that if every adult can protect just one child, they will forever change one life. If we can all change one life, together we will make a difference in this generation of children. - The Church Pension Fund
Sexual Misconduct Prevention
The Sexual Misconduct Prevention Trainings teach participants about the sexual harassment of adults and other misconduct, and how to guard against such behaviors. It also teaches appropriate boundaries in general.
