Planned Giving
St. Mark's understands that when people remember the church in their wills and estate planning, they are saying that the church is their family. Such generosity is a great gift to the church, and St. Mark's has benefited from such generosity in the past. Due to planned gifts, various funds for ministry have been created and capital projects have been accomplished. Generally St. Mark's does not use bequests for operating income unless such use is specifically requested by the donor. Otherwise, it is the policy of St. Mark's to use bequests in ways which help sustain the long-term vision of the parish. If you wish to make a planned gift to St. Mark's, the Episcopal Diocese of Hawai'i provides many resources for planning one's will in order that future generations may benefit from the ministry of our parish. The Vestry and the Rector are always happy to help as well.
