Dear Friends,
The beginning of November and All Hallows-tide will be here very soon. We joyfully anticipate the All Saints High Mass when we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, and the Requiem Mass for All Souls is always a solemn tradition for the parish. Please join us for the potluck after the All Saints Day High Mass. Regarding All Souls, there is a necrology listing in the church for the names of the faithful departed who have died in the past year.
But before we celebrate All Saints and All Souls, this coming Sunday at the High Mass we have our first induction of the Guild of the Annunciation. Inductees of the Guild commit to praying the Rosary and Guild Novena regularly, worshipping on Marian feast days, and supporting the parish through discipleship, understanding that the Blessed Mother is the Christian's model of discipleship. For those who are interested in learning more, the first step is committing to the regular recitation of the Rosary before the Parish High Mass on Sundays.
Regarding discipleship, we give thanks for the many parishioners who have registered their pledges for 2026. If you have not pledged yet, you may still do so through the parish website. There are also pledge forms in the church. On behalf of the Vestry, thank you for your financial support.
